Gimme Three Steps
Hey everyone-
I’m reporting to you live from the Boston College Campus… well actually, from the Starbucks right next to the Boston College Campus. Here’s a quick run down of what’s new…
Saturday, Whitney Snow, Sheesley Jordan and Sarah Doolin, three Tallahassee friends went to lunch at J.G. Melons (the best burger in Manhattan) and then Whitney, Sarah and I headed to Rouge, the Florida State Alumni bar to watch the Miami game. I don’t really want to talk about that right now. It’s still a little painful.
After the game, I headed back to Brooklyn to call it an early night.
Sunday morning I woke up early, took the subway to Chinatown and got on the Fung Wah Bus from Boston to New York. I know it sounds shady but it worked pretty well! A charter bus for 15 bucks from New York to Boston? yes please!
I met my friend Dave up here who is a Seminarian. I am staying with him at the rest of the Seminarians at St. John’s which is on the campus of Boston College.
This is BEAUTIFUL! The leaves are turning and all the huge houses around here are amazing.
I headed to St. Mary’s LIFETeen Mass in Dedham. It was fantastic. Music, lots of participation, lots of great teens… and nobody else really there, what with that whole Red Sox game.
When I got back to the Seminary, The Sox had busted open a big lead and then added on to it to win the Championship. Off to the World Series, which starts my last day here in Boston.
Tonight I’m going to speak at MIT. This could get interesting.
Hope you are all well!

3 good friends at a super burger joint, FSU alum bar, a $15 trip
from NY to Boston… and then resting at a Seminary. Now thats
what I call a blessed day.
Atumn usually shows its beauty first in the northeast. Your right
Mike…its absolutely beautiful…..the turning color of leaves, a
brisk temp, long sleeve shirts and like you said, the homes
up there are stunning.
Speaking at MIT would be something else.
Yes the loss to Miami was painful. Lets hope we can beat Duke.
Then BC at their place. Does not get easy. We just never know.
Thanks for sharing.
