I’m a Florida Resident again

Well friends, my time at home in Florida comes to an end. Tomorrow I head back to the state of Minnesota for a few days before a long Travel month begins.
Just a quick thanks to those who came to my concert at Good Shepherd last Tuesday. It was a small crowd, but I really appreciate ya’ll being there. I took some video… that I cut my head off in. But hopefully I can get some stuff posted on Youtube soon.
So, about the title of this blog, here’s the story. As I was packing up to head to St. George Island on Thursday, I went to grab my wallet… and it was not where it should be. After ripping the house apart and being fairly certain it wasn’t there, I called the golf course to see if I left it in the cart. It was not there. My St. George trip thusly went down the tubes. So I canceled one of my credit cards, thinking, this wallet HAS to be here. I went to sleep that night convinced I’d wake up and see it on the night stand.
The night stand was empty when I opened my eyes. So off to the DMV I went. I got a new driver’s from the state of Florida. After talking to the guy at the DMV, we decided it’s probably a better plan for me to have a Florida License. My car is insured in Florida, the tags are Florida tags, the title is in Florida… it’s probably better I have my license there.
So I’m now a Florida resident, living as an alien in Minnesota.
Of course, after I’d canceled my ATM card and gotten my new driver’s license… someone turned in my old wallet to the pro shop at the Golf Course. I gotta quit taking such crazy turns in the golf cart!
Wish me luck folks!

Losing one’s wallet is a nightmare. I hope you did’nt do all this
for nothing. Something tells me your wallet will show up
very very soon. I put in a special request to St. Anthony, the
patron of lost stuff. He’s never ever failed me.
Anyway if you find it at least you got a free tour of DMV!
Peace

Mike, why do you hold on to Florida? Don’t be afraid to be who you are, a Minnesotan.
