T a double L Y…
Ah yes my friends. Here I sit, on day 3 of my trip back to Tallahassee.
In the 72 hours I’ve been home I’ve played 18 holes of golf (soon to be 36), consumed no less than 5 glasses of sweet tea, 1 side of Fried Pickles, 1 dozen Oysters, 3 peices of Fried Chicken, Fried Okra, Baby Back Ribs, and, this was even a new one for me… Fried Bacon. Most importantly though, I’ve reclaimed my Southern Accent. The land of “Aww far cute” and ”do you wanna behg” and “is there anything else I can get you right away?” hasn’t done me in yet.
This has been a great trip home so far. This morning I went with my Mom and Dad to my neice’s school for “Grand Persons Day”. Technically this is a day for Grandparents to come visit their Grandkids at school, but in efforts to incorporate any “Grand people” in the child’s life, Uncle Mike got to tag along.
Not too much else is going on. On the list this week is to read, play music, play golf, eat turkey, go to Tampa, visit friends, and do not a whole lot of anything else.
I wish all of you a very safe and happy Thanksgiving. Watch out for out of control shopping carts on Friday!

Any leftover fried chicken or baby back ribs?
Oh Oh heads up, 3 shopping carts headed my way.
Wow Keanu Reeves is in one of ‘em.
Happy Thanksgiving to all your family Mike.

Fried pickles? How did I miss out on fried pickles when I was down there? Where they out of season?
