Hello Friends-

It’s been a crazy week up here in Minnesota. We’ve had warm weather that has now decided to cool off, the Cubs are in 1st Place, and more importantly, the NET Teams are finishing up training. This past weekend, the Home Team put on a Confirmation retreat for local high schoolers. It was a long but rewarding weekend.

At home, we are currently working our way through DVD’s of various NBC primetime programing. Season 3 of the Office, Season 1 of Heroes and Season 6 of the West Wing. All of them are fantastic. It’s amazing we are almost caught up on the two that are still playing as their new seasons start this week. It doesn’t hurt that NBC now allows you to watch episodes of every show they produce online.

This coming Saturday I head home to Florida for a long overdue visit. It’s a business and pleasure kind of thing as I’ll get to have elements of both.

If you are in the area I’d like to invite you out on Tuesday, October 2nd to Good Shepherd Catholic Church. I will be putting on a concert to raise money for my year of service with NET. Stop by from 7-9.
