This is something I wrote during December Retreat for the NET Teams this past year.

I desire You. Not what you can do, not what you can’t do. I only desire you, with your whole heart, mind and soul. Return to Me! I am your Creator, your source of life, your all and still I crave You and I must have your heart. There is nothing I wouldn’t do. How can I make you feel My love if you’ve given up hope of feeling anything? Without hope I can be nothing to you. You must have hope in Me!
Your struggles and your joys; neither are your own!

My child I long to remove the chains and the yoke, but you carry on, encumbered, unaware they are even there. I can free you! I can remove this pain if only you would let Me. Stop thinking I have abandoned you. I am always, always at your side. Remove the binding that sin has caused. Push it aside and simply reach out for me. Reach out with Hope that I will be there. Because I will be there.
